Description
The Antares+ by Lumenis is an advanced anterior segment analysis system designed to support Dry Eye Disease (DED) diagnosis and corneal topography. Beyond standard Placido-based imaging with 24 rings, the system offers:
• Infrared meibography with 5-point grading to assess Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD)
• Non-invasive tear break-up time (NIBUT) and detailed tear film analysis
• Contact lens auto-fit simulation for optimized lens selection
• Pupillometry under scotopic, mesopic, and photopic conditions
• Fluorescein imaging for manual BUT measurement
• Keratoconus screening and corneal wavefront analysis
The system is intuitive to use, delivers fast and accurate results, and combines objective measurements with a comprehensive DED report (including OSDI, tear meniscus height, osmolarity, and more). An optional diffuser light filter allows for enhanced lipid layer imaging.
